In May, 2003, it was announced that Jane will be working on the pilot episode of what will hopefully be a new game series to be funded and published by The Adventure Company (aka DreamCatcher).

We will have more on this site in the future, including screenshots when they become available, and links to all related material on the web.  For now, though, Jane is still working on the game bible (the primary design document) and there has not yet been a development team assigned.

What is it called?  "Project-JJ" for now.  We had a cool title.  It had copyright issues.  We are in search of a new one.

What's it about?  It's an investigative mystery series with a male and female lead and with cases involving the paranormal.  Sound familiar?  It's not really.  The male lead is a neurobiologist and the female is a magician.  And the paranormal in this new series will be much less fantasy and more reality based -- not werewolves and vampires but the powers and potentials of the human mind.   Yes, it is a pure, 3rd person adventure game.

When is it coming out?  The current date is Fall of '04.

What does Jane think of it?  Jane is thrilled to be doing a game again and anxious to work with the new team -- art! music! acting! interviews!  Oh, the excitement.  Three years of writing a novel at home have taken their toll.  As for the game itself, Jane is passionate about the story and characters -- as always.  Don't ask her.  She'll talk your ear off.

How's this Adventure Company thing going to work out?  So far, Jane has felt that she's finally found a new home, a place that reminds her very much of Sierra when she first joined -- small, artist driven and energetic.  That was a place she's dearly missed.
